 Lattice Power (Jiangxi) Corporation was founded in early 2006, currently with a registered capital of $50 million USD. The key investors are GSR Ventures, Mayfield Fund, AsiaVest Partners, Temasek Holdings, Keytone Ventures and KPCB China. The company aims to advance and commercialize the research accomplishments from Research and Technology Center for Luminescence Materials and Devices led by Professor Jiang Fengyi in Nanchang University. The center is recognized and surpported by the Ministry of Education.

Chairman and President, Prof. Jiang Fengyi, is a nationally-recognized technologist and a receipient of numerous recognitions. He led the formation and expansion of the research center for luminenscence materials and devices which is supported by the Ministry of Education in Nanchang University. He is also one of the key players in the 863 solid state lighting program. He had graduate study at the Changchun Physics Institute of the Ministry of Science and Technology, China.
